SANDISK SSD HEALTH CHECK ANDROID
The drive works seamlessly across platforms whether you’re using a MacBook or a PC or an Android Tab. I was able to transfer a 9.5GB folder in about 60 seconds from my MacBook to this drive. SanDisk claims speeds of up to 1050 MB/s. While SSDs are a pricier option (vis-à-vis HDDs), they deliver zippy transfer speeds. The groove on the top right corner allows you to hook up a key bunch. It’s slim, it will slip into those tight jeans and is ultra-light, making it an easy travel companion. The retail package features two set of cables (USB-C to USB-C and USB-A to USB-C) aside from the SSD drive. Its built with a forged aluminium body that’s covered with a rubberised coating. The design is unmistakably rugged you get a rubberised finish with perforations on one side with an etched SanDisk logo on the same side. This SSD is certified for 2-metres and withstood multiple tests. I loaded this device with a few files and then let it take a fall. It’s the first thing we like to put all SSDs in our testing lab through. If you’re already sold on an SSD device, Western Digital’s next-gen SanDisk Extreme Pro SSD makes a strong case. You’ve probably got those other files like back-ups and stuff you don’t need on a daily basis stashed away in less expensive HDD drives. It’s what you’re going to need for those ‘live’ files that don’t have enough space to reside in your smartphone or tab or laptop. By now you’ve figured that you need a SSD (Solid state drive) if fast transfer speeds are your thing. SANDISK SSD HEALTH CHECK SOFTWARE
I'm worried about the fact the bad sectors number are the same and they seem incresing (even if it is increased only by one).Īny suggestion/comment? Which software do I have to believe? Since the laptop is new, I have 10 days to decide if to return. I also tried sudo badblocks /dev/* with Ubuntu, saying me that there is no problem. In addition, the dashboard report that the status is 100% health. They replied that there are no bad sectors and that HD sentinel as well as Ubuntu are not reliable for their model.

They made me install the SanDisk SSD dashboard software () and I sent the report to them. I contacted then SanDisk company, to check its opinion.

The expected life time is more than 1000 days. So, I investigated and the same number of bad sectors is shown by HDSentinel (from Windows). Regarding the SSD, if I open the disks from the Ubuntu unity menu, it says that the disk is ok with 5 bad sectors (when I bought it they were 4). Anyway, I run an Ubuntu 14.04 圆4 live cd checking if everything is fine. I bought a new laptop few days ago running w8 (sucks!) with this SSD. I would like to have your feedback about a SSD disk (model X300s).
